it's the graveyard
shift tonight -
the moon drapes
her silver shroud around
your shoulders as you leave,
she knows you're tired
of working it out

how the earth rotates
like a spinning top
between his forefinger and thumb,
the one you believe you're
all stuck under

(bloody feet, got soles encrusted with rubies)

Under my window, a clean rasping sound
When the spade sinks into gravelly ground...

I like that you contrast commonly used language with poetic language it makes your work so refreshing

Love this! Just curious, what's the difference between the poems you post on your journal and the poems you post an deviations? Are the poems you post on your journal meant to reflect your personal life?
