This is simple and expressive. I like the theme and how you have portrayed it. The expanse of expressions and interpretations out of this can be huge - not necessarily a good thing so I cannot decide if any further addition would have made this more interesting and pleasurable to read or would have diminished its feel.
This makes me wonder so many things, what caused them to go into the ocean in the first place, why it's not the right time, what they're going to do now ..... beautiful capture of a moment. The ambiguity of the circumstances magnifies this part of the bigger picture (if there is one).
I spent a few minutes trying to decide what to say about this poem, but I came up with very little. It's simple, but there's a hidden layer of complexity, almost like a tragic love story in nature. It's sad, but it's a sadness I want to feel. I want to know more, but I think that might ruin the effect. :shehrozeameen: was essentially right. This is a fantastic poem.
i wish i could do this much with so little. your words are always perfect.
there's a dull, empty ache to this piece that i recognize, like these seven lines are the culmination of every emotion i've had since the day it ended. i usually don't write comments but these words touched me, that recognition. it's stunning and it would break my heart if said heart wasn't so apathetic.
